What is A-GAme?

Since 2016, A-Game has been the 'ground floor' for room-ready AANHPI creatives in Los Angeles. We are a small but mighty collective of volunteers determined to change the face of Hollywood from the inside out.

By facilitating over 150 direct meetings and 60+ industry events with executives from Netflix, Disney, Paramount, and more, we help writers bridge the gap between having a script and having a career.

Why A-GAME exists

According to the 2025 UCLA Hollywood Diversity Report the film industry is facing a widespread reversal in diversity initiatives.

The numbers for AANHPI creators are particularly alarming: Asian creators account for only 2.5% of major decision-making roles in television, despite making up over 10x that amount in global viewership.

A-Game exists to close this gap.

Industry access has never been more difficult following the double Hollywood strikes and ongoing attacks on DEI initiatives.

However, A-Game isn’t merely trying to 'check a box.' The data consistently shows that work created by individuals from the communities they represent leads to greater creative, critical, and commercial success.

By cultivating the best emerging writers, A-Game is breaking down barriers to ensure AANHPI storytellers reclaim their narratives.

How you can support

A-Game is run by a small but mighty board of volunteers.

We do not collect membership dues, and we do not aim for profit.

Our work is fueled by a single, relentless passion: amplifying BIPOC voices.

We believe access should be free.

That’s why 100% of your support goes directly into the programming that connects our hundreds of members with Hollywood’s decision-makers.

We are proud to partner with the 501(c)(3) non-profit Asian Pacific Community Fund as our fiscal sponsor, meaning your financial contributions are fully tax-deductible.
